LMC Industries, Inc. located in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area (Arnold), has an opening for a Master Scheduler. We are a contract manufacturer of Metal Stampings and Plastic Injection Molded products, primarily for the automotive industry: 

Responsiblilities:

  1. Requisition raw materials.
  2. Develop and exeute planning activities to maximize plant efficiency and meet customer delivery schedule.
  3. Assist with analyzing current and future forecasts against corporate capacities and make recommendations on resources.
  4. Assist with planning and execution of physical inventories as needed.
  5. Develop MRP proficiency utilizing various reports and seek out improvement opportunities.
  6. Other related duties as requested.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Monitor daily - production schedules, shipping and receiving schedules, backlog and backorders.
  2. Monitor weekly - customer forecasts, sales orders, and inventory (Raw, WIP, and FG).
  3. Assist with coordinating and communicating late deliveries with production departments and customers.
  4. Assist with maintaining data integrity of the MRP system with respect to forecasts, sales orders, purchase orders, production orders, and inventory.

Key Interfaces:

  1. Meet daily with production departments to discuss problem areas.
  2. Communicate regularyly with customers.
  3. Work closely with internal and external groups during startup of new programs.
  4. Comply with LMC Export Compliance Manual.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, material management, or related fields with strong manufacturing knowledge.  Must be computer literate. CSCP certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of four years planning and requisitioning experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of MRP (Material Resources Planning) systems.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Able to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.
